My neighbours - through erecting a fence have destroyed my fence (now neither of us has one as they used mine as a rest)
I have asked them and their lanlord to repair or replace this fence - but still nothing has been done this has being goining on for the last 3 months now - My privacy is being invaded and is annoying as i speak to the landlord/tennants and am assured that something shall be done but never is - plse can anyone advise what i should do next - trying the CAB but i can never get throughI am trying to get in contact with a Citizens advice Bureaux - is there someone else I can try ?

Or you can consult a lawyer. Lawyers usually give a consultation for free. You can ask the lawyer to write a letter to the landlord of the property. A letter should not cost more than a couple of hundred dollars. Once the landlord gets a letter from a lawyer explaining how they will be taken to court, I'm SURE something will be done, pronto. The threat of a lawsuit is usually the catalyst to action, unfortunately.

Marriage and the citizen,s advice bureaux?
my wife has a solicitor we have been talking about the house she want,s 拢15000 from me to buy her out the house is 拢70000 but we have debt,s of 拢25000 and a mortgage of 拢10000 i can buy her out but i can only get 60% for a re mortgage can citizen,s advice bureaux been with her to see her solicitor she do,not want the citizen,s advice bureaux there is the solicitor use her for the money ?Marriage and the citizen,s advice bureaux?

I'm on the verge of a breakdown and need your help.
I owe $1,400 to United Collections Bureua. I ran up debt on my CitiCard a year ago, racked up interest and my debt was sent to UBC.
I had a $1,000 payment posted from my bank account for this past Monday, but suddenly, I needed the money for rent or else I'd be sued by landlord. The payment postted to UBC was rejected.
Now Mr. Thomas, my rep who's been doing my account at UBC, is threatening legal action and saying because the check posted to my account was bad, it will be reported to the state, for looking into check fraud. This wasn't fraud, I didnt fake or lie about certain info or steal! I just couldn't come up with the money. That's called debt! I told him that and he was silent. He knew it's not fraud.
They called my sister too, feel bad. What should I do? Should I just mail in the money I owe when I can come up with it? Or should I call my family attorney and sue? This is against the laws for what debt collectors can doUnited Collections Bureau is after me!!! I need help with getting a loan!!!! Please, advice would help!!?
They are just trying to get the money. They have a right to still collect because your payment didn't go through. Call a supervisor there and explain what happened. See if you can make a goodfaith down payment of a few hundred now (if you can afford that) and make a promise to pay the remainging amount soon. See if they can work with you on it. If you sent in a check for $1000 knowing you did not have the money in the account to cover it it's considered check fraud and it's illegal. The debt collection company has the right to continue to come after you for the debt owed. Explain to the collection agency that you will make a good faith payment of a couple of $100 if you can, they cannot force you to pay what you don't have and they must work with you. If you show you're making payments they have to work with you, otherwise you could just walk away from the monies owed, people do it all the time, most of the time when people don't pay the debt is charged off.
The landlord will not sue you for non payment of rent, you will receive a 7 day notice to pay or quit, if you dont' pay after that then you will get a 3 day notice after that he will file eviction, it'll take at least 3 months to get you evicted. If you pay rent when you receive the 7 day notice you'll be fine. Landlords don't sue, they evict.makeup gloss

In my previous life I was a trained counsellor with a psychology degree.
I have been on 'reception' at the CAB as I had knowledge of many different services that may be able to help in a specialised field.
I enjoyed my time there; even though I was often sworn and shouted at.

You really need specialist knowledge in a chosen field. I think most volunteers would be ex local government officers for example Housing benefit or council tax. Or lawyers specialising in immigration or employment law. Things are so much more complicated these days I don`t think I would be much use!

I've thought of joining the Samaritans,but I know I'd encourage people to jump! I'll just get my coat.

Hi I'm a 2nd Year Law student and have just got a position at the Citizen Advice Bureau in London?
Is this a good step, as apparently you get 6 months of your training contract when you complete your CAB training.
Some moaning person said this could be a hindrance as she had done the training which didn't do her or her studies any good.
Truly don't understand that, but then it depends on your passion, and i'm excited to do it as I will be trained in various subjects.

If this idea is exciting to you, then it sounds as though you are an ideal candidate and that your positive approach could make this experience of benefit to you if not immediately, then certainly in retrospect.
