Hi I'm a 2nd Year Law student and have just got a position at the Citizen Advice Bureau in London?

Is this a good step, as apparently you get 6 months of your training contract when you complete your CAB training.

Some moaning person said this could be a hindrance as she had done the training which didn't do her or her studies any good.

Truly don't understand that, but then it depends on your passion, and i'm excited to do it as I will be trained in various subjects.

Has anyone trained at the CAB as an adviser?? whats it like, and will it help.Hi I'm a 2nd Year Law student and have just got a position at the Citizen Advice Bureau in London?
Remember that people study law for all manner of different reasons, ranging from an urge to set the world aright to a desire to get rich. This sounds like a great opportunity for someone who is interested in helping people and gaining wide experience of the kind of problems which people come up against in life and of how to set about coping with them. If this idea is exciting to you, then it sounds as though you are an ideal candidate and that your positive approach could make this experience of benefit to you if not immediately, then certainly in retrospect.
