Is there a Citizen's Advice Bureau in Grants Pass, Oregon, U.S.A?

I want to know what sort of community information agencies are in or around Grants Pass: agencies that offer housing referrals, support, counselling, financial counselling, and assistance for people in low incomes and students. Here's some more info:


The Grants Pass Community Services and Senior Programs serves lunch at several sites in Josephine County 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday-Friday. The two Grants Pass sites are the Center, 317 N.W. B St., and Parkdale, 960 Rogue River Hwy.





Other meal sites are: Cave Junction, County Building, Monday-Friday; Wilderville, Methodist Church, Wednesday; and Williams, Williams Community Church, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.





For meals for shut-ins call 474-5440 and a case worker will call. Diabetic meals available for homebound persons when referred by a doctor.





40-Plus Dance Club





The Grants Pass 40-Plus Dance Club meets 1-4 p.m. Mondays at The Vitality Club, 234 SW L St., Grants Pass. Dave Flick's Show Band plays for ballroom dancing. The $3 admission includes refreshments. For information phone Helen Lucket, 476-7939.

I have family in Grants Pass, OR. I could probably get you more specific info, but it may take a couple of days . . . Have you checked with the local Y? Perhaps even check with some of the churches? The schools should have some reources also.
